Review Summary

We still remember when Just For The Win started out, and how enthusiastically they embraced innovative concepts and tried to do brand new things to shake things up. So it is with youthful energy, but developers tend to mature when idealism meets the grind of reality. JFTW is not as unpredictable anymore, and many of their games follow a similar pattern. Golden Fields is not a bad farm slot by any measure, but it’s not made of timeless stuff either.

The bright visuals gets the job done, and the Plant Holder system is a somewhat different way of introducing gradually expanding wilds. The jackpot prize pick game is hardly something new, but you will probably not mind too much if you land the 5,000x top prize. This is also the game’s overall potential, and you get plenty of expanding wild action in the bonus rounds.

There is nothing too memorable to see here, perhaps, but still a decent installment that will entertain players for a while.
