Review Summary

At first glance, we thought we were in for yet another run-of-the-mill ‘book of’ clone, but there is far more here than the fairly standard ancient Egypt presentation that meets the eye. First of all, you get 729 win ways, which is unusual, but the symbol values are also far lower than your typical book slot. However, you also get x2 and x3 multiplier wilds to spice things up, so the base game can, at least theoretically, deliver pretty decent payouts.

The main attraction is, of course, the bonus round, and it comes with a highly unusual twist we’ve never seen before. You’re still somewhat at the mercy of which symbol is selected to become expanding, but we really enjoyed the whole concept of adding positions to make each expansion trigger more lucrative than the previous one. It builds up the tension towards a climax/anti-climax ending, which can lead to a 10,000x payout, at best.
