The premium symbols pay between 0.5 and 5 x your stake for 6 of a kind wins, and the Zeus Wild symbol steps in for pay symbols to help complete wins.

Winning symbols are removed via the Collapsing Reels mechanic, and new and/or existing symbols drop down to fill the gaps. Each Collapsing Win increases the Win Multiplier by +1 up to x20 at best, and the process repeats as long as you keep winning.

You trigger the Mega Zeus Free Games feature when you land scatters that spell out Z-E-U-S, and you can also land a +5 scatter. You get 10 free spins at minimum, and +5 additional free spins on top of that per +5 scatter you land in addition to the Z-E-U-S scatters. The Win Multiplier only keeps building in the bonus round, and it does not reset between spins like in the base game. It can still go up to x20, at best.

You win 5, 10, 15, or 20 extra spins when you land 3, 4, 5, or 6 scatters in view, and up to 500 free spins are possible.

You get an expanded version of the Zeus Wild on each spin, and it appears on reels 2, 3, 4, or 5 only. The expanded wild is not removed via the Collapsing Reels feature when part of a win.

Playtech has had solid success with the original Age Of Gods: King Of Olympus, and you get a similar, yet improved, experience in this Megaways version. Age Of The Gods: King Of Olympus Megaways is visually similar, however, but you now get a progressive win multiplier also in the base game. Combined with up to 117,649 dynamic win ways, the increasing multiplier does add tension to the base game, making this release a well-balanced affair.

Of course, you get the Age of the Gods jackpot system as usual, and it can trigger at any given time.

This adds an undercurrent of excitement to the experience, and it’s fun to see the expanded Zeus wild manifest from a bolt of lightning on each spin. The multiplier increases per cascading win, instead of every second spin like in the original. However, the 5,295x potential is significantly lower than the 18,000x you get in the original, and it’s also below par for this engine.
