Fast Fruits DoubleMax is, as the name reveals, a fruit slot installment in the genre, and the first one at that. The visuals aren’t anything too special, perhaps, but you get a classic set of retro fruit machine symbols set against a red hyperspeed backdrop.

Fans of the classic look need not worry, but more neutral players would be wise to not judge this one by its cover. Fast Fruits DoubleMax does take the series forward, as 1 of 4 different wild types will spawn per cascading win. The symbols pay between 1 and 5 x your stake, and Wild symbols step in for pay symbols to help complete and/or improve line wins.

Reflex Gaming has done a good job filling that spot, and you shouldn’t let the somewhat generic presentation fool you. Fast Fruits DoubleMax is not only a fast-paced and fun installment in the series, it comes with highly interesting innovations to boot. The 3 special wilds can be quite helpful when they spawn, and you do get at least one new wild per cascade.

This makes the base game far more unpredictable and exciting than in many predecessor installments, as you never know how far up the multiplier ladder the Boost Wild will take you.

Each Way Wild can also come in handy, of course, and everything gets more tense when the doubling multiplier never resets in the bonus round. You can do serious damage in all stages of the game, and the 20,000x potential is solid enough despite being lower than some other DoubleMax releases.
