The Crypto Punk Multipliers don’t reset in the bonus round, and it’s probably safe to say that this is the best crypto-themed slot we’ve seen so far by a long shot.

Every win triggers the Chain Reaction feature, and this removes the winning symbols from the grid. New and/or existing symbols will then drop down from above to fill the empty spaces, and the process repeats as long as you keep landing new winning combinations.

There are 4 Crypto Punk symbols in this game, and they all serve as wilds. These will only slide in on the top horizontal reel, and the wilds step in for all regular pay symbols to help you form winning combos.

Whenever Crypto Punk Wilds are part of a low-value symbol win, the low value crypto symbols are collected by the Crypto Punk.

Each symbol collected increases the Wild Multiplier by +1, and the multiplier is then applied to the total win. A 5-oak low-value win involving a wild will thus produce a x6 multiplier boost, and the values reset per paid base game spin.

When Crypto Punk Wilds are part of a premium symbol win, they are destroyed with the rest of the winning symbols as the Chain Reaction feature kicks in. You can get up to 2 Crypto Punk Wilds at the same time, with individual multipliers going as high as x30 per sequence. If both are involved in the same win, the respective multiplier values will multiply with each other.

You need 3 to 6 Crypto Spins scatters anywhere in sight to trigger the Bonus Round, and this awards 10, 15, 20 or 25 free spins (called ‘crypto spins’), respectively. Each of the 4 Crypto Punks get their own respective meter on either side of the grid, and the low-value symbol collecting multipliers will keep building per Crypto Punk Wild as long as the feature lasts.

The Crypto Punk Multiplier Meters don’t reset until the bonus round is over in other words, and each meter can go as high as x30.

You can retrigger the feature by landing 3, 4, 5 or 6 scatters on the same free spin, and this awards 5, 10, 15 or 20 extra spins, respectively.

Red Tiger is throwing themselves on the crypto wave with NFT Megaways, and it’s a strong release with pixelated meme-centric crypto symbols that are bound to charm anyone familiar with the Twitter crypto scene.

The Crypto Punk Wilds collecting low-value crypto symbols to increase their multiplier is not only clever, it also balances out the base game. Things can get really interesting, to the tune of 10,499x your stake, when the wild multipliers keep building also between spins in the bonus round. We’re glad to see that Red Tiger has ironed out most of the quirkiness from the math model in this release, and NFT Megaways is really a must try for all players into the cryptosphere (except, perhaps, for hardcore purist Bitcoin maxis).
