In this one, we’ll examine Sunken Riches, a 2023 release that takes place on a very classic playing field with 5 reels, 3 rows and 15 paylines.

Pirate themes have always been incredibly popular, and Sunken Riches is yet another slot in that long line. Its designers didn’t go for anything original, but, to be fair, they did come up with very colorful and pleasant visuals. Their style won’t suit everyone, but it’s by no means bad!

The reels of Sunken Riches feature a set of 10 pay symbols, which are split evenly into 5 low pays and 5 high pays.

First, there are barrels, flasks with poison, compasses, and swords. Then, there are three charismatic pirate characters and treasure chests. The symbols are all well-designed and colorful, and you have to find 3 or more matching ones on a payline from left to right to get a payout.

In addition to pay symbols, Sunken Riches also offers Skeleton Wilds, Treasure Scatters, and Into the Depths Scatters. Skeleton Wilds can naturally substitute for any of the pay symbols, and they come with high payout values of their own as well. Treasure Scatters then pay out from all positions, while Into the Depths Scatters trigger the Into the Depths feature.

Now – to get to the Into the Depths feature, all you have to do is land a single Into the Depths symbol.

When everything is put together, Sunken Riches emerges as a solid mid-range slot that does everything competently, but that most definitely won’t get anyone particularly excited.
