The timeless appeal of the gritty wild west frontier has spawned countless games already, but Bounty Showdown is Fantasma’s first effort in the popular genre. They have decided to go the simplistic route with this release, keeping things as barebones as the dusty world they portray. The base game is a dead spin grind if we ever saw one, although the second chance respin will throw you a bone once in a while.

The soundtrack is close to Deadwood quality, and the tense atmosphere of riding into a suspiciously quiet town all by your lonesome is captured nicely.
