Buckaneers Frenzy offers little new both gameplay and design-wise, and it's actually a slightly tweaked version of Reel Time Gaming's older Pirates Frenzy slot, and is probably released to circumvent certain legal restrictions. Anyway, we're taken to the same piracy environment, with the reels set in a backdrop of a sandy beach. For some reason, the developers have stuck with a kind of old-school graphics. It's more of a nod to the past and ties the slot with its older brother, but still, the game looks more dated than stylish.

During the Free Spins, coin sack symbols appear with random cash values attached to them, which can be either 2x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, and 50x the stake.
