The iconic Motley Crue is pretty much the definition of what an infamous, larger-than-life, wild to the bone, heavy rock band was supposed to be. The Crew members are the premium symbols, consisting of Mick Mars, Vince Neil, Tommy Lee, and Nikki Sixx, and they come in sizes 1x1 and 1x2. The premiums pay between 15 and 25 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins, and the wild symbol can appear anywhere to step in for pay symbols and help complete wins. The wild pays the same as the top-tier Nikki Sixx symbol, and the base game comes with 3 random features named after the 3 hit songs you can choose from.

The Wild Side Respins feature triggers at random times after a non-winning spin, and it activates the Wild Side Barrier seen on the right.

This barrier moves one reel to the left per respin, and it fills reels with wilds. The process repeats up to 4 times, or until you land a win. This means that all reels except reel 1 can be covered with wilds, at best.

The Live Wire feature can trigger at random times on any given spin, and it adds up to 5 wild symbols to random positions on the reels. You get a maximum of one wild symbol per reel, however, and Live Wire cannot trigger if the Wild Side feature is active.

The Girls, Girls, Girls feature can also trigger on any given spin, and it provides girl symbols on the 3 middle reels. You need at least 1 girl symbol in view to trigger the feature though, and each girl symbol comes with a bet multiplier prize that’s instantly paid.

This feature cannot trigger when the Wild Side feature is active either.

The Bonus Round triggers when you land 3 scatters on reels 1, 3, and 5, and you get between 6 and 10 free spins randomly assigned. Both the Girls, Girls, Girls and Live Wire features are active on each free spin, but only if the Wild Side feature is not. The Wild Side feature triggers on every non-winning free spin, and sometimes the Kickstart My Heart feature will also trigger. Review Summary

This reviewer was more into Nirvana than Motley Crue growing up, but it’s hard not to enjoy the in-your-face political incorrectness that’s oozing out of every pore of this game. Nirvana represented a far more introverted and depressed musical style, while Motley Crue just wanted to rock hard, get chicks, get high, and have fun. Play’n Go has captured the band’s unruly spirit quite well in this release, but it’s a bit hard to tell who is who at first glance.

The base game is kept varied and exciting by the 3 features, and you can choose your favorite song or let the game shuffle for you. Everything comes to a head in the feature-packed bonus round, where multipliers can help close you in on the 5,000x potential. This is far from the highest max win in the rock slot range from PnG, but the medium volatility makes this game more accessible for all sorts of players.
